Telematics SDK records the driver’s speed continuously and compares it with posted speed limits.

Speeding is grouped into events with a minimum duration of 3 seconds and a maximum gap of 5 seconds between intervals.

Distracted Driving

Phone usage is detected by an ML model.

Detected intervals are combined into events with a minimum duration of 3 seconds and a maximum gap of 20 seconds.

Cornering

Phone axes are continuously adjusted to calculate accurate lateral acceleration.

Cornering events are created when lateral acceleration exceeds 4.2 m/s², with a minimum duration of 0.6 seconds and a maximum gap of 3 seconds.

Acceleration

Phone axes are continuously adjusted to calculate accurate acceleration in the direction of travel.

Acceleration events are created when acceleration exceeds 3 m/s², with a minimum duration of 0.6 seconds and a maximum gap of 3 seconds.

Braking

Phone axes are continuously adjusted to calculate accurate deceleration in the direction of travel.

Braking events are created when deceleration exceeds 3.2 m/s², with a minimum duration of 0.6 seconds and a maximum gap of 3 seconds.
