Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Damoov Pte. Ltd. (“Damoov”, “we”, “our”, “us”) collects, processes, stores, and protects information related to users of Datahub, our B2B web portal used for product configuration, integration management, driver analytics, and data access.

Datahub acts as a management console for Damoov products and services. We are committed to protecting user privacy and ensuring transparent handling of data.

By accessing or using Datahub, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.


1. Eligibility

Datahub is intended for use by businesses and authorized enterprise users. You must be:

  • An authorized representative of a Damoov client, partner, reseller, or internal team; and

  • At least 18 years old.


2. Authentication and Account Management

Damoov uses Auth0 as a third-party identity provider for secure authentication.

We DO NOT store:

  • Email addresses

  • Usernames

  • Passwords

  • Names

  • Contact information

  • Any other personal identifiers

All such data is stored exclusively by Auth0 in the EU region, subject to Auth0’s own privacy and compliance framework.

Damoov only receives a token confirming that authentication was successful, and no personally identifiable information (PII) is stored in Datahub.


3. Information We Collect Automatically

To operate Datahub effectively and improve user experience, we collect limited technical and behavioral data, including:

  • Browser type and version

  • IP address

  • Device type and operating system

  • Login timestamp and session events

  • Navigation behavior inside Datahub (e.g., visited pages, clicks, usage patterns)

  • API usage logs

This data is collected for:

  • System security

  • Error diagnostics

  • User experience improvement

  • Product development and feature optimization

We do not attempt to identify individual Datahub users based on this information.


4. Use of Datahub User Activity Data

We may use Datahub user activity data for the following purposes:

  • Improving product features, UI/UX, and performance

  • Providing system notifications, status alerts, and maintenance messages

  • Informing Datahub users about new product capabilities, updates, or relevant services offered by Damoov

Important:

  • We DO NOT sell, rent, or share any Datahub user data with third parties.

  • All Datahub analytics are used internally only.

  • Datahub user activity is never used for external marketing unrelated to Damoov’s products.


5. Client Data Processed Through Datahub

Datahub allows clients to view and manage telematics-related data such as:

  • Trips and scoring

  • Driver IDs (typically anonymized by clients)

  • Integrations and API keys

  • Internal business identifiers

Damoov does not upload, modify, or enrich client’s telematics data unless explicitly configured through Datahub or API.

Clients remain data controllers for all telematics data they manage using Datahub.


6. Communications

We may use Datahub-related information to send:

  • Service notifications

  • Maintenance and outage alerts

  • Security advisories

  • Product announcements

  • Updates about new Damoov services or features

You may opt out of promotional messages, but you cannot opt out of essential system communications necessary for operating Datahub.


7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Datahub uses:

  • Session cookies

  • Security cookies

  • Analytics tools (internal)

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking tools.

Cookies help ensure:

  • Secure login sessions

  • Stable performance

  • Analysis of aggregated usage patterns


8. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not disclose Datahub user information except in the following cases:

a) Service Providers

We may share limited operational data with trusted service providers (e.g., hosting, security, analytics) strictly for supporting Datahub functionality.

We may disclose information if required to comply with:

  • Applicable laws

  • Court orders

  • Regulatory investigations

c) Security Events

If necessary to prevent fraud, cyber-attacks, or unauthorized access, we may share technical logs with security partners.

We DO NOT:

  • Sell Datahub data

  • Share Datahub user identities

  • Provide Datahub usage information to third parties for advertising


9. Data Retention

We retain technical logs and activity records only for the period necessary to:

  • Provide Datahub services

  • Ensure security

  • Meet compliance and audit requirements

After this period, data is automatically deleted or anonymized.


10. Data Security

We implement industry-leading security measures, including:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS 1.2+)

  • Role-based access controls

  • Infrastructure hosted in secure environments

  • Continuous monitoring

  • Audit logging

No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your data.


11. International Data Transfers

All authentication-related user data is stored by Auth0 in the EU region.

Datahub system logs and analytics may be processed in other jurisdictions, but they never include personal identifiers.


12. User Rights

Since Datahub does not store personal identifying information, traditional GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure) apply only to data stored in Auth0.

To request changes or deletion of your account information, please contact your organization’s administrator or submit a request through Auth0.


13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted inside Datahub and on our website.

Continued use of Datahub after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
